  1.     The MODERATOR BAN command, or /M BAN for short, lets you ban a problem user
  2. from the current channel.  This command only works in channels that are _not_
  3. personal channels.  If the user to be banned is in the current channel, they
  4. will be kicked out.  The ban remains in effect until the user leaves, or until
  5. you or another moderator issues a MODERATOR UNBAN command.  To ban a user from
  6. the current channel, issue one of these commands:

  8. MODERATOR BAN <name>
  9. /M BAN <name>
  10.  
  11.     <name> is the name or partial name of the user to ban.
